Matthieu Blazy: Maria Luisa award at ITS#FIVE

Every year, one new edition of ITS; every year, more talent supported through the prizes offered; every year, since 4 years ago, at 'le plus cool' area of the 1st arrondisement in Paris, the beautiful and ultrachic Maria Luisa's windows are dedicated to the winner of the prize of the same name at ITS... during the Pret-a-porter week in September, ITS#FIVE winner, Matthieu Blazy, a graduate at La Cambre in Belgium, had to decorate the windows of Maria Luisa with his creations and had the chance of selling his clothes too. Here is what he told us about it:

"...so these are the pictures from the Maria Luisa windows I did last week
during the fashion week. It was a great opportunity to present my work in such a prestigious place. Showing my work both to the crème of parisienne professionals like designers and the press, and to a larger audience like shopping girls, my mother, walkers, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen...
the windows have been really well receive.
Maria Luisa was also really happy with it, which makes me feel good
because I was a bit nervous (the timing and the internship at the same
time.. ) and at the same time really excited by the project.

Elisa Palomino from Galliano was also really nice because she allowed me to quit the internship for a few days to realise the windows: I had to cut all the white stickers on the windows giving them the same shape as the ones on my coat....etc...
I am now back to Belgium to finish school......last year!!
Tomorrow night I'll go to India for 15 days to make the embroidery of my next collection.
