ITS#ONE finalist Lela Sherrer recently s aid to the EVE'rs in a letter, "how small the fashion world is" referring to the fact that she had recently been in India to visit a friend whom she had met at another fashion competition in Japan, who was a finalist in ITS#THREE! Although they never met here in Trieste, creative minds meet in all eight corners of the world ! It is a small world after all. The ITS Talent family knows each other without ever having met (yet ...)

Lela Sherrer's newest collection is called Hopscotch.
The inspiration for the HOPSCOTCH-collection came from children's photos of the 1930's, a very troubled period which was clearly visible in the pictures.

The kids wore simple clothing made from simple materials and accidental combinations of fabrics.
For the collection Lela used simple fabrics like cotton, pulled wool and structured silk, some of which were printed and richly embroidered. These styles are kept as a combination of simple clothes, uniform coats, leather belts worn with shirts, skirts and dresses, huge mohair shawls with fringes, everything in a contingent combination of fabrics.
