What is new in SIX?

December 01, 2006

Growing up is accepting responsibilities; growing up is turning dreams into reality and leaving behind the (too) unrealistic ones. ITS is SIX years old now, which in human years is being about 36 (with a very fresh look). We are taking our responsibilities seriously towards ourselves and our network, schools and talented up-and-comers that are relying on us. We are concrete and we are still growing up. Unlike past editions, there is no place for fun here, just facts (and being fast-forward: if you don't know what ITS is or has been about, we are not telling you here. We've built a whole website: be curious, take the proper time, discover us, riddle us with questions, enter our network)

ITS#FASHION
It is a competition for young fashion designers. What can happen to designers enrolling in ITS?
Having their clothes produced and distributed worldwide, with their own name on the label. Having their outfits showcased during Paris Fashion Week in a 1st arrondissement shop-windows. Being the stylist of photos published in well known magazines. Winning cash prizes to create new collections and present them to the international press, fashion designers and opinion leaders. Receiving fabrics to create their final collection and travel to factories in Italy to work on the customisation of high profile fabrics
All true, all tangible. ITS all happening thanks to Diesel, Maria Luisa, i-D, EVE, Puntoseta.

ITS#ACCESSORIES
A competition for accessories designers: What can happen to them?
Winning cash prizes and having photos of their accessory taken by professional still life photographers. Winning cash prizes to create a new collection of accessories to present to press, designers and opinion leaders. Having their shoe prototypes made by keystone brands. Too hard to believe? Not really, if we tell you that behind it all this there is YKK, EVE and Salvatore Ferragamo.

ITS#PHOTO
A competition for photographers. What can happen to them?
Winning cash prizes and their photo shoots published in magazines. Creating the campaign for womenswear fairs in Milan.
Give a round of applause to Mini and Pitti Immagine.

That's that!
Always ready to support creativity all around the world.
