| Heaven In Turin: Vertice Award at Artissima |

| Vertice Boutique in Turin is currently hosting "The Poetry of Memory", Heaven Tanudiredja 's first Italian exhibition. It started with a vernissage during the peak night of Artissima ( international contemporary art fair) on Saturday November 10. |
With this exhibition the first edition of the Vertice Award takes shape, ready to become a yearly appointment by joining the forces of two entities, ITS and VERTICE BOUTIQUE, which share a common approach. The keywords for both seem to be creativity and innovation, and there is a common starting point, a constant and minute search for talent, without borders or preconceived ideas...
Displayed in the windows and set in the refined spaces of the boutique, Heaven's creations took shape and told the audience, which was impressed by Heaven's amazing skills of in cutting and shaping, a proper story.
Many visitors noticed the detailed attention to forms, and how the Indonesian born designer pushes the limits of fashion design towards art.
Sculpture in particular seems to be a real reference point in Heaven's way of exploring the assembly and bending of elements.

The collection presented, entitled "The Poetry of Memory", takes inspiration from Elsa Schiaparelli's work and from Christo and Jeanne-Claude's wrappings, confirming the mixture of artistic suggestions coming from different fields...
The magical atmosphere of the Artissima Fair spread to the packed and animated vernissage night, and the response to the exhibition has been on of interest and attention. As was in Roberto Trapani's idea (the mind behind Vertice Boutique) it gave to ITS' core mission of exploring new ideas from all around the globe (Heaven is Indonesian and studies at the Belgian Hogeschool Antwerpen) a touch of
Turin's special feeling for emerging art.
After the end of exhibition ( which will last till December 20th) it will be time to look forward to ITS#SEVEN Vertice award winner and to his exhibition in Turin in fall 2008...
