It will soon be 10 years that Eve is supporting talent from all over the world.
The tangible feedback of all this work is both remarkable and impressive. ITS collected 5 tons of portfolios, whose contents is worth a brief description. Very elaborated covers, made with great handcraft skills, stitching, giving shape to something that is much more than eye catching, it's the front door to the soul. Concepts that are pure poetry, that are emanations of that soul. Images and photos that create imaginary and unique universes. Samples of fabrics and materials, often something that can't be bought, but it is again something created chasing after a dream, trying to make thoughts and emotions tangible. Sketches, where all these bits and pieces come together and find the image of their physical shape. The sketch takes you to the verge of something, the moment between the source of creativity and the form of that same creativity.
We have 5.000 of these portfolios, coming from over 80 countries.
And we also collected the next step of the creative process. We have the actual outfits, shapes and fabrics modelled to enhance and to beautify the human body, and accessories, whose meanings and messages go beyond their surface and looks. Pieces that are not there merely to cover and decorate, but are there to make statements, exist to materialise and give a cause to creativity and talent. So we have both the roots, the motivations, the reasons and the finalised objects.

Over 70 outfits and many bags, shoes, jewels, hats. And this number is due to increase constantly. Every year, new finalists from the competitions are invited to Trieste, and each one of them gives us a sample of his/her creativity.
A special chapter is dedicate to images. As a result of the past editions of ITS#PHOTO, we can showcase a special photo gallery, many photo projects that arrived from all over the world to represent a specific area of photography, images that are characterised by a subtle fashion mood.
All this put together is an amazing resource, a unique Creative Archive. Something that collects and showcases examples of creativity from all around the world, but also something that can be used as a source and an inspiration for new creative processes.
Our archive is alive, our archive is meant to enlarge and to embrace more and more forms of art. We want to help put creativity in motion, we want to create a continuous pattern, connecting what has been created to what will be created.

At the moment these treasures are exposed in our office attic (take a look at the web gallery), a large space where time seems to stand still. The set up is made with refurbished antique objects lying around in an apparently chaotic way. It is a proper "attic of memories", halfway between Alice in Wonderland and a Victorian museum storage room.

All this is possible thank to our beloved finalists. It must be very hard for them to give us a piece of their work. Seeing all the efforts and energy they put into their creations, we can imagine that for them it is like giving up a piece of their heart!

It is a very precious thing indeed. And it is all worth it, since we will do everything to protect their work from oblivion, showcasing it at a high level and to the right people, giving it that artistic dignity and visibility it deserves.
