ITS#ONE - DIESEL AWARD - EINAV'S COLLECTION TO BE SOLD IN DIESEL STORES

February 27, 2003

ITS#ONE - International Talent Support reaches its final port of call, showcasing the 'EINAV ZUCKER BY DIESEL' capsule collection worldwide.

Einav, the Israeli winner of the ITS#ONE — DIESEL AWARD, has designed 5 pieces, carrying a customized label with the designer's name. The mini—collection, produced by Diesel, is going to be distributed from March 2003 in some of the most representative Diesel stores worldwide: Diesel Concept Store Milan Porta Ticinese, Diesel Denim Galleries in New York and Tokyo, Diesel Flagship Stores in London Covent Garden and in Paris Etienne Marcel.

Born in Haifa (Israel) on December 7 1976, Einav Zucker graduated at prestigious Shenkar School of Engineering and Design in 2002. Her set of garments designed for the Diesel Award includes a white lycra long sleeve t-shirt and sleeveless t-shirt with graphics on the front, a pair of trousers, an overall and a laced waistcoat with a special treatment and wash. The style and the graphics are inspired by parachutes, a metaphor of her passion for boundless freedom. Very intimate and personal, the clothes' design express Einav's evolution from the strict and realistic person that she once was to a more easy-going one. Great importance has therefore been given to the materials chosen to translate her conceptual idea into real outfits - cotton and lycra — as well as the colours, especially white, connected to dreams and fantasy. The result is a collection of outfits addressing women who feel free and identify with freedom.

Diesel has an ongoing support towards the world of young creativity. The close cooperation with ITS#ONE is a tangible way to launch promising creatives, concretely helping them in realizing every fashion design student's dream: seeing their collection produced and distributed worldwide and getting international credit for it. Diesel strongly believes in promoting the freshest, unspoiled and most original creativity and in upcoming talents looking for a stage to express themselves.
