PRE-ENROL, THEN ENROL!

What is required from you to enrol in one - or more...yes, if you feel like it you can even enrol in more than one field - of the 4 competitions? Here's a simple guide for you. It's actually a sum-up of what you will find in the first couple of pages of the entry requirements, which we strongly advise you READ VERY CAREFULLY since everything you need to know and need to do to enrol is stated there!

Just as we said above, the first thing you need to do is read. Take your time, sit down and read the entry requirements for the competition(s) you are enrolling in. Remember you will have to print out and sign the entry requirements, since there's a number of deadlines you will be required to meet!
PREPARE YOUR PORTFOLIO
Organise the portfolio you will ship to us in the best, most complete way! You have to give us a complete overview of your work, of what you are capable of doing and of the work you are enrolling! Make sure you include photographs of past and present projects, that's mandatory! If there is a special project (the YKK Award project for ITS ACCESSORIES and the SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS Jewelry Award project for ITS JEWELRY. Fashion finalists will be required to work on a special project for DIESEL, but that's, as said, only for the selected finalists...) be sure to include everything that is required for that too. Send high-quality material! Sketches, photos, etc. sent by applicants may be published on the ITS website and catalogue and/or used for press purposes, so you wouldn't want to send us poor quality, would you? And bear in mind that your portfolio (but not its intellectual content) will remain our property, so if there really is something you would like to get back, DO NOT SEND IT.
PREREGISTER ONLINE!
You must pre-enrol online. Go to www.itsweb.org/preregister and create your account by providing all the personal information requested. Select your competition area from the menu and click on "go!" At this point you will be re-directed to your entry form. Fill up each field and give it a final check before submitting it and printing it out because you won't be able to change it anymore! When you've checked everything, submit your form and print it out. Sign it on each page, add two passport-sized photos as required and include it in the portfolio that you will ship to our offices, by using the practical stickers in the final pages of the printed entry form! If you are a team of two designers enrolling one project together, then one of you needs to enrol and invite the other to do so too, by clicking on the "TEAM" bar and inserting the email address of the other member of the team! This is the only way for a team of 2 designers to be accepted.
POST YOUR PORTFOLIO
Needless to say, be sure you've included everything, don't get the address wrong (Name of competition area + EVE SrL, Piazza Venezia 1, 34123 Trieste, ITALY) and USE A COURIER, DON'T TRUST ORDINARY POST SERVICES! Way too many times we've seen packages disappear and people ask if we had received their material...A courier shipment is trackable and guarantees that your package will arrive. If required to give a description of the package contents, remember to declare it contains documents only and be sure to declare a value of less than €25 to avoid customs fees. We will not, in any case, pay for any package which requires payment upon receipt. It will be shipped back to you.
WAIT
If you've done all of the above, then now it is time to wait. As soon as the package will arrive in our hands and we will have processed it, you will receive an email confirmation. Finalists selection will be in mid-April, so... fingers crossed!!
