ITS is ready for a new age, goodbye Trieste!

The time has come for International Talent Support, the platform created and developed by EVE in collaboration with Diesel, YKK and MINI to support young talents from diverse creative fields, to say its good-byes. Born in 2001 as an event to bring the best young international creativity together and support it by offering visibility, cash prizes, important job opportunities, internships and placements as well as contacts with the most important brands in the fashion and photography business today, ITS has proven itself over the course of its 8 editions. The numbers speak for themselves: over 1350 articles published in the most important international press, it has travelled over 150,000 km across 19 countries in search of creativity, contacts with over 800 schools, 5600 applicants from 61 countries have enrolled in ITS, with 317 finalists and 86 winners. And an incredible archive with 6 tons of portfolios, 116 outfits, 56 accessories and 450 photos. The biggest achievement for ITS, though, is seeing the applicants and finalists work, grow and establish themselves: working for designer labels like Moschino, Cavalli, Antonio Marras, Christian Dior, Roberto Cavalli, Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen just to name a few; photo shoots with photographers of the highest calibre like Sarah Moon and Ari Marcopoulos, spreads in Vogue Italia, prizes won at World Press Photo.
On 10 and 11 July, the majestic Salone degli Incanti on the Trieste harbour front was the stage for a final and incredible show, one that was inspired by the travelling circus shows of the beginning of the twentieth century. With this event, ITS witnesses the end of an era, saying goodbye to Trieste with "THE GREATEST SHOW OF ALL", complete with acrobats, magicians, jokers, and eccentric artists. On Friday July 10 a marching band ushered in the opening of the ITS#ACCESSORIES and ITS#PHOTO exhibitions. On Saturday July 11, inside the circus tent created especially for ITS#EIGHT, the collections of the ITS#FASHION finalists were revealed and the winners of this magical and moving final edition were announced.

ITS is ready to start a new chapter in its history by taking it to another level. A new edition is already in the works. It will take place predominantly on the internet, always maintaining its high quality, its passion and the uniqueness that has always been a trademark of ITS. ITS will be have both virtual online events and real events that will take place in the fashion capitals of the world, like London and Paris, taking full advantage of the potential the web offers, finding new ways to amaze and delight audiences. And, above all, it will find new ways to discover and support creativity, and continue to produce real results. It has been 8 unforgettable years for the ITS staff. An adventure that draws to an end, an adventure that will change shape transforming itself into something else, and in doing so says goodbye to a city that, thanks to ITS, was catapulted into the international scene.
