ITS#SIX. The MINIInternational Award in Trieste
Seven photography schools from Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States were chosen for the finals of ITS#PHOTO, the International Talent Support competition that MINI dedicates to talented young photographers from around the world. The works of this edition are inspired by the theme "Uniqueness is?" and will be on display starting Friday, July 13 until Saturday, July 14. The winner will see his or her work published in MINIInternational and will also have a chance to take an exclusive trip aboard the eagerly-awaited MINI Clubman along with famous photographer Gianni Berengo Gardin and a journalist from GQ magazine.
For the third year in a row, MINI is participating in ITS- International Talent Support, the platform for creative young people from around the globe. The competition, which has reached its sixth edition, was created and developed by E V E, in cooperation with DIESEL and YKK, and is divided into ITS#FASHION, ITS#PHOTO and ITS#ACCESSORIES sections.
In the ITS#PHOTO competition, MINI will assign the MINIInternational Award to the winner of the section dedicated to the most talented young photographers from the best international photography schools.

Last April, the expert jury of ITS#PHOTO composed of art directors, exhibit curators, art buyers, and other specialists, including Denis Curti, the Artistic Director of ITS#PHOTO, selected the projects of thirteen young photographers from seven prestigious schools in Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
The appointments to remember are Friday, July 13 and Saturday, July 14, at the former Pescheria Centrale of Trieste, for the exhibit with the works of all the finalists and the awards ceremony. The mistress of ceremonies that evening will be Victoria Cabello, and special guest at the ITS#PHOTO exhibit will be Remigiusz Pyrdol, the winner of the last edition whose work was published in the MINIInternational issue dedicated to Lisbon.

Here, in alphabetical order, are the students of the seven schools that are finalists of the MINIInternational Photo Award.
Daniela Droz, who studies at Ecole Cantonale d'Art in Lausanne, Switzerland - Ilaria Gambi, from Fondazione Studio Marangoni, Italy - Maria Giulia Giorgiani, a student of I.S.I.A, Istituto superiore per le industrie artistiche progettazione grafica e comunicazione visiva, Italy - Alejandro Guijarro, photographer, Spain - Leonora Hamill, of the Royal College of Arts, United Kingdom - May Heek, of the HKA Hogenschool Voor de Kunsten Arnhem, Netherlands - Primoz Korosec, photographer, Slovenia - Anouk Kruithof, photographer, Netherlands - Ruggero Mengoni, photographer, Italy - Jing Quek from the School of Visual Arts, New York, USA -Elena Rendina, a student of the Ecole Cantonale d'Art of Lausanne, Switzerland - Levi Van Veluw, from the HKA Hogenschool Voor de Kunsten Arnhem, Netherlands - Rui Vilela, from Berufsfachschule fuer Design Lette Verein, Germany.
The winner will receive 10,000 euros, appear in MINIInternational Magazine, and get a chance to take a unique ride and drive the new MINI Clubman.
The winner of the MINIInternational Photo Award will receive 10,000 euros and see his or her photo spread published in MINIInternational. Furthermore, he or she will have a chance to take an exclusive trip aboard the new, eagerly-awaited MINI Clubman.
This original "on the road" experience will be a journey in search of uniqueness immortalized by the camera of famous photographer Gianni Berengo Gardin and GQ Magazine, which is always on the lookout for what's hot and new in metropolitan culture.
