ITS#SIX: THE FABULOUS KALEIDOSCOPE OF ITS TALENTS

The magenta heart of ITS#SIX-International Talent Support is ready to beat once again to support young creatives from all over the globe with its three-day unique experience that will take place in Trieste, Italy, 12 - 14 July 2007.
ITS is a project created and developed by EVE, in cooperation with DIESEL which has backed the project since the very beginning, and again this year with YKK - partner for ITS#ACCESSORIES - and MINI - partner for ITS#PHOTO.
Like a kaleidoscope - this year's location concept - ITS#SIX is an instrument for observing beautiful ever-changing forms cultivated by the creativity of young designers coming from the best fashion and photography schools around the globe. The 51 finalists selected for the three areas - ITS#FASHION, ITS#ACCESSORIES, ITS#PHOTO - will have the opportunity to let their creativity shine in the kaleidoscopic setting of the event, the Olde Fish Market in Trieste. L'Oréal Professionnel will create the hairstyling for the fashion show and Patricia Milton the make-up. Thanks to the new supporter IFF (International Flavours and Fragrances) the location of ITS#SIX will become a multi-sensory space in which unique fragrance creations will be associated with the moods of the fashion show and with kaleidoscopic presentation.
The fashion finalists will be awarded by a panel of prestigious jurors. For ITS#FASHION: Raf Simons Fashion Designer, Creative Director Jil Sander, Wilbert Das Creative Director of Diesel, Sophia Kokosalaki Fashion Designer, Elisa Palomino Head of Roberto Cavalli Studio, Maria Luisa Poumaillou Maria Luisa Boutique, Colin Mc Dowell Senior Fashion Writer The Sunday Times Style and Founder of Fashion Fringe, Isabelle Aout Style Office Director Maison Martin Margiela, Kullawit Laosuksri Editor in Chief ELLE Thailand, Maria Luisa Frisa Fashion Curator at Fondazione Pitti Discovery and Director of undergraduate programme in fashion design IUAV University of Venice, Daniela Fedi Journalist "Il Giornale", Aitor Throup Winner of "Fashion Collection of the Year" at ITS#FIVE and Barbara Franchin Director of EVE/ITS#SIX. The ITS#FASHION jury will be joined by Kei Kagami Fashion Designer, Alberto Pierotti Salvatore Ferragamo Italia S.P.A. and Heather Blake Winner of "Accessories Collection of the Year" at ITS#FIVE to award ITS#ACCESSORIES winners. The awards? For ITS#FASHION: The Diesel Award, the chance to design a capsule collection, labelled with the winner's name, produced by Diesel and distributed in the most exclusive Diesel stores worldwide; Fashion Collection of the Year, a place in the ITS#SEVEN jury and €20,000 to create a new collection for that very edition; Fashion Special Prize, €5,000; Maria Luisa Award, window display & sale at the Maria Luisa boutique in Paris; i-D Styling Award, £3,000 and a one-month work experience in the editorial staff; Develon, ITS internet partner offers a customized website to a finalist chosen by the ITS audience; Vertice Award, window display at Vertice boutique during Artissima, mid-November in Turin. And, last but not least, thanks to the new collaboration with Punto Seta, all finalists will be offered some exclusive innovative fabrics for their creations.
For ITS#ACCESSORIES: Accessories Collection of the Year, €10,000 to create a brand new collection to be presented out of competition at ITS#SEVEN and a place in the jury at that edition; YKK Accessory Award €10,000 + YKK will select one item to be used for a professional photography shoot; an important collaboration with Salvatore Ferragamo Italia S.P.A., who will support the production of shoe prototypes enrolled in the competition.
The winners will be awarded with: MINIInternational Award, €10,000 + a photo shoot which will be published in MINIInternational magazine + an exclusive trip aboard the new MINI Clubman, exploring the concept "Uniqueness is?" with the internationally renowned photographer Gianni Berengo Gardin; SVA Photo Global Award, full scholarship and housing for a one-year intensive photography course at the School of Visual Arts, New York; the brand new Pitti Immagine Photo Award, two finalists will shoot the campaigns for Touch, neoZone and cloudnine, the Womenswear projects Pitti organizes in Milan during the fashion week.
ITS#SIX is created and organized by EVE, DIESEL is ITS' presenting partner, the first one that believed in the project and supports young fashion talents with concrete opportunities; ITS#ACCESSORIES is partnered by YKK and ITS#PHOTO is partnered by MINI.
