ITS#SEVEN. MINI Clubman Photo Award at Trieste
|
Fifteen talented young photographers from Italy, France, Japan, Israel, Switzerland, Belgium, Sweden, the UK and the USA have made it to the finals of ITS#PHOTO, the part of International Talent Support which MINI has devoted to young international artists in the field of photography. They include Mashid Mohadjerin, winner of the ITS#PHOTOweb competition. Their work, on the theme of "The Other", will be exhibited in Trieste on Friday 18 and Saturday 19 July. The winner of ITS#PHOTO gets not only the cash prize of €10,000 but also the chance to set up an exclusive photography shoot with the famous photographer Sarah Moon.
This is the fourth year running that MINI is taking part in ITS# - International Talent Support (www.itsweb.org), the multidisciplinary platform for young artistic talent set up in 2001 and developed since then by Eve, with the support of Diesel (ITS#FASHION's presenting partner from the very first year), MINI (an ITS#PHOTO partner) and YKK (an ITS#ACCESSORIES partner).
ITS#PHOTO's subject this year was "The Other", and for the first time it included an online section called "ITS#PHOTOweb". As part of ITS#PHOTO, MINI offered the MINI Clubman Photo Award for the winner of the section devoted to young talent from the best international schools of photography.
The young photographer, to be named at the award ceremony, will get €10,000, publication of his/her service on MINI International, and an unprecedented chance to do a professional photography shoot alongside the famous fashion photographer Sarah Moon: the results of that collaboration will be published in a prestigious Italian magazine.

On Friday 18 and Saturday 19 July the work of all these finalists is to be on display, and the prize-giving itself to take place, at the former Central Fishmarket in Trieste.
