FASHION PRIZES
Fashion Collection of the Year
The winner will come to ITS#TEN to present a new collection with a dedicated fashion show and be part of the Fashion & Accessories Jury. EVE will cover all expenses and handle the production and organisation of the fashion show, giving the winner €15,000 towards the development of the new collection.
Diesel Award
The Diesel Award aims to ensure that fashion students' dreams become a reality by offering them the most tangible way to support their breakthrough into the international fashion scene. Fashion competition applicants will be asked to submit, in addition to their collection for ITS#NINE, a proposal of at least 5 outfit sketches based on an Autumn/Winter 2010 brief to be provided by Diesel. All outfits must include a jacket. Selected finalists will then be asked to produce one of the jackets, which will be presented during the ITS#NINE finals in July 2010. Renzo Rosso, founder & president of Diesel, will select the Diesel Award winner from the Fashion finalists. The award consists of a cash prize of €25,000 that the winner can use, without limitations, to promote their work in the best possible way and to invest in their career. On top of that, the winner will be offered an internship within the Diesel Creative Team at its HQ in Italy to discover all the secrets of working in a unique, innovative and international fashion environment. Fashion Special Prize
The winner will be awarded a cash prize of €5,000. The award will be assigned taking into consideration only pure creativity.
Vertice Award
Vertice, the renowned boutique in Turin, Italy will give the winner the opportunity to have a window installation during the International Contemporary Art Fair “Artissima” held in Turin in November. Vertice will also organise a special event presenting the work of the winner to the press.
