SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS Jewelry Award
The goal of the SWAROVSKI® ELEMENTS project “ITS JEWELRY” is to create new, wearable pieces of crystal jewelry using SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS, with a mix of materials inspired by ethnical influences.
Think of sparkle, glamour, ethno, exotic, heritage, opulence, material mix, nature, world traveller, crystal.
For this competition, Swarovski will provide a special selection of colors and shapes of which the participants are free to choose for their designs. The participants should present three sketches outlining a necklace, a bracelet and a third component free of choice. All designs must be new and original and can never have won any previous competition. Each entry must be accompanied by a description of the design and materials used.
CRITERIA
- Create a new glamorous ethno look by mixing opaque materials such as leather, wood, straw, seeds, plastic and metal with sparkling SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS.
- The designs should not be art pieces, but actual wearable jewelry pieces.
- Entries to ITS JEWELRY will only be accepted if they include a complete development of the SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS Project.
SWAROVSKI® ELEMENTS will assign to one of the jewelry finalists the SWAROVSKI® ELEMENTS Jewelry Award: €10,000 + a 6 month internship
